Bibetta
UltraBib
8.1/10 overallAround £9
A soft, fully wipeable weaning bib with a deep crumb-catcher pocket.
The UltraBib's defining feature is its deep, stiffened pocket that stays open on its own to catch dropped food, rather than a flat catch-tray that only works while a baby leans forward. The bib itself is a soft, laminated fabric rather than rigid plastic, which most babies tolerate better around the neck than a stiff silicone bib.
Against Tommee Tippee's weaning bibs, the trade-off is pocket capacity versus stiffness: the UltraBib's fabric pocket catches more mess and is more comfortable, but the poppers can be fiddlier to fasten one-handed than Tommee Tippee's simpler neck loop.
