The Movekid is Axkid's core extended rear-facing (ERF) seat, taking a child from around 7 months up to 125cm (roughly age 7) always facing backwards, with a two-step recline for sleeping. Like the BeSafe Stretch, it follows the Swedish philosophy that rear-facing for as long as possible is meaningfully safer in a frontal or angled collision, which is the most common serious crash type - but it installs using the vehicle's seatbelt rather than Isofix, which keeps the price down and means it can go in almost any car without checking Isofix compatibility.

Against the BeSafe Stretch further down this list, the Movekid is the budget entry into extended rear-facing: it's around £180 cheaper, has fewer recline positions (two versus five) and a plainer support-leg design, but covers the same height and weight range and carries a strong safety reputation of its own. Where the Stretch feels more like a long-term family investment seat with extra recline comfort for a sleeping toddler, the Movekid is for parents who want the rear-facing safety case without the premium price tag.

It's best suited to families who've done their research on extended rear-facing and are committed to it, and who don't mind seatbelt installation (it's fitted with the car's seatbelt plus a top tether, not Isofix, so there's a slightly steeper learning curve for a snug first fit). The real limitation is that this is a single-purpose seat: once your child eventually outgrows rear-facing limits at 125cm, you'll need a separate booster, whereas an all-in-one seat like the Joie Every Stage would have taken you through to 145cm without a further purchase.
