This is a single moulded piece of platinum silicone rather than the fabric-and-wipeable-backing construction of something like Tommee Tippee's weaning bibs. The deep pocket at the bottom is the main selling point — it's stiff enough to stay open on its own and catches dropped food rather than letting it slide straight to the floor, which matters more with baby-led weaning than with spoon feeding.

Compared with a fabric bib like the Bibetta UltraBib, the silicone build wipes completely clean under a tap in seconds and won't hold onto smells or stains the way fabric can after a few washes. The adjustable snap closures (typically three positions) cover the 6-24 month range reasonably well, though it runs a size up on smaller babies at the younger end — the neckline can sit a little loose until closer to 9-12 months.

It rolls up for travel, which fabric bibs don't do as neatly, and it's dishwasher safe on the top rack. The silicone is soft enough not to chafe, but it's a stiffer, less forgiving material than fabric against a very young baby's neck, and some babies resist the closer, more rigid fit at first.

Best for parents doing baby-led weaning who want the pocket to actually catch food rather than just decorate the bib, and for anyone who'd rather rinse a bib clean than run it through the wash. Less ideal for a newborn or very young baby still on milk-only feeds, where a soft muslin or fabric bib is a better fit.

What we liked

  • Deep, stiff pocket actually catches dropped food during BLW
  • Wipes or rinses clean in seconds, no lingering stains or smell
  • Rolls up small for travel, unlike fabric bibs

Where it falls short

  • Runs loose on the neckline for babies at the younger end of 6 months
  • Stiffer silicone can feel less forgiving than fabric against the neck
  • Pricier than a multipack of fabric bibs

9/10

The stiff, deep pocket is genuinely better at catching dropped food during baby-led weaning than fabric bibs with a shallow fold-up pocket like the Tommee Tippee weaning bibs.
